To gain full benefit from the course it is advisable to study the units in order beginning with the introduction The Components of Medical Words. This explains how medical words can be analyzed and understood from their components and it will enable you to proceed efficiently through following units. You may also find it useful to study Unit 1 on Cells, Tissues, Organs and Systems as this explains words associated with the levels of organization of the human body.
Note : the units can be studied separately if you wish to learn words within a particular system.
